Llano Bonito, San Jose State, COSTA RICA

View of the area now used by Coopellano Bonito as a natural reserve where they grow cypress trees, as well as some endangered species. This area used to function as a source of wood to be burned as fuel in the old oven. Now, with the latest technology, it's no longer necessary to burn wood, therefore the cooperative keeps this area as a reserve, potentially used in the future for ecological tourism. 600 small coffee farmers in this area are members of the Coopellano Bonito cooperative, enabling them to get a better price for their coffee.
