Wego Foka Romeo, 25, from Cameroon, photographed in international waters between Libya and Italy in the Mediterranean Sea.'When I was 12 I Iost my mother. I stopped school and started to work on a farm in north Cameroon. One day, I came back from the field to find Boko Haram had burned my village. Everything was destroyed. I left to work in Chad with a friend. A man found us and brought us to Libya to work on his construction site but we were kidnapped by strangers. They beat us and told us to call our families and ask for money. I had no one to call so they sold me to a man who needed a worker. He gave me food and treated me well but he didn't pay me. When he left Libya to travel, he asked if I wanted to go back to my country, but I said, 'No, I have no one there.' So he paid for me to cross the sea.'
