Young and old dance to local music at the Alwinton Border Shepherds' Show. First begun in 1866 when shepherds brought down stray sheep from the moors and redistributed them amongst their owners, the show is now in it's 153rd year. Many Shepherds now feel unsure of their future. If because of Brexit, any tariffs are imposed on the Sheep they produce, many will be forced out of business.
